About the Tour

The southwestern part of the island is often underrated but no less beautiful than other regions. This journey will lead you through active volcanoes and geothermal areas, one of two UNESCO sites in Iceland. You will experience a scenic drive through rugged lava fields and depending on the weather, one of the faces of a beautiful lake on this peninsula. Despite all the attractions listed above, we will show you a pretty coast with cliffs (where, in summer, puffins might be encountered) and stop by the picturesque lighthouses.

This tour could be extended by a visit to the Blue Lagoon or a hike to a volcano eruption site on request.
